What image comes to mind when you think of your mother?
Is she gentle and nurturing, strong and hardworking, loving and selfless, noble and humble, simple and brave, or perhaps quirky and playful?
The image of a mother has become more diverse over time. The spirit she embodies and the roles she carries have long surpassed what a few simple words can describe. Expressing our feelings toward our mothers in just a few words is truly not an easy task.
This weekend is Mother’s Day. If you haven’t yet thought about how to express your love for your mom, why not try sharing this video with her? Let the words that are hard to say transform into an abstract painting filled with emotion!

Who am I 自畫像系列 虎年特別篇
Self-portrait Series - Tiger Year Special
About the Self-Portrait Series
Jo began creating self-portraits in 1993, exploring the inner turbulence and restless spirits within herself.
Starting with self-portraits, she continuously explores, organizes, and ultimately transforms into a purer, more singular version of herself. Just like how the self-portrait series uses different media to create various styles of Jo, the way she is seen by family, friends, classmates, and teachers reveals entirely different aspects of her.
Life is full of twists and turns. What seems like an obstacle at first can, upon reflection, appear quite amusing. How to untangle complexities and heal wounds will be presented step by step in Jo's self-portrait series. Through this, she hopes to help viewers gain a deeper understanding of their own inner world.

The images in these works are like fleeting moments in her life. Looking at the photos Jo captured, one can't help but be curious about her journey and state of mind. If she hadn't used a camera to record them in that moment, perhaps these feelings would have been swept away by the current of life and forgotten.
