[Public Information]Annual Work Report and Financial Statement for the 2022 Fiscal Year of the Jo Hsieh Arts Foundation
According to Article 25 of the Foundation Act:
Foundations are required to submit their annual work plan and budget within one month after the beginning of each fiscal year. Additionally, they must submit their previous year’s work report and financial statements within five months after the end of the fiscal year, for approval by the Board of Directors and subsequent filing with the competent authority. If the work plan or budget involves high-risk countries or regions for money laundering or terrorist financing, a risk assessment report must also be included.
The following information must be proactively disclosed by the foundation:

Documents Subject to Competent Authority Filing: The work plan and budget, after being filed with the competent authority, must be made public within one month. However, if the foundation is government-funded and disclosure would jeopardize national security, diplomatic or military secrets, overall economic interests, or other significant public interests, and with the competent authority's consent, it may remain undisclosed.

Subsidies and Donations: The list of subsidies and donations received and paid in the previous year should be published, including the names of the donors and recipients and the amounts of the subsidies or donations. However, if donors or recipients have expressed written opposition to disclosure or if public disclosure would significantly affect the foundation’s operations, and with the competent authority’s consent, it may not be disclosed.

Other Information for Public Oversight: Other necessary information for public oversight as specified by the competent authority should be disclosed within the designated time frame.
In accordance with the Foundation Act, and to ensure transparency of the foundation’s operations, we proactively disclose the relevant documents filed with the Ministry of Culture: the Jo Hsieh Cultural and Arts Foundation's 2022 Work Report and Financial Statement.
