[Framework]
We are born into a world full of predetermined frameworks, such as the Confucian and Daoist cultures of the Chinese tradition or the limitations we impose on ourselves. Jo's "Non-Space" guides us on how to navigate within these frameworks with the grace of a fish and the freedom of a bird—letting go and allowing our hearts to be at ease.
For Jo, blue is an exceptionally special color. It is stable, philosophically rich, understated, yet profoundly mysterious. Her blue series reflects her understanding of these qualities. No matter when or where, viewers can filter out the chaos of their thoughts through her paintings, experiencing a sense of calm and tranquility.
